Two ICT Projects of NIC Himachal Pradesh have won the prestigious Computer Society of India-Special Interest Group-eGovernance Awards 2019. The Him Pragati project for the Chief Minister Office has been awarded the Award of Excellence and the Cooperation MIS Project has won the Award of Recognition.

The Awards wase received by Sh. D.C. Rana, Special Secretary to Hon’ble Chief Minster, Himachal Pradesh along with Sh. Sandeep Sood, Senior Technical Director and Sh. Sanjay Kumar, Technical Director from NIC HP in the annual CSI Convention at Bhubaneswar, Odisha on 17th January 2020.

The MDM-ARMS – Mid Day Meal – Automated Reporting Management System product, of NIC, developed by Himachal Pradesh and replicated in 17 States/UT, has been awarded the Gems of Digital India Award 2019 under category: Protecting and assuring on 13th September, 2019 in New Delhi. The award was received by Mrs. Padmavathi Viswanathan, DDG NIC & State Coordinator, Sh. Sanjay Kumar, Scientist-E along with Sh. Mangal Singh, SSA, NIC HP in a award ceremony at Hotel Leela Palace, New Delhi Shimla.

Himachal Pradesh State web portal received Digital India Gold Icon Award 2018 under Web Ratna State/UT category. The Award was presented by Honourable Union Minister for Electronics & Information Technology and Law & Justice, Shri Ravi Shankar Prasad on 22nd February 2019 at India Habitat Centre, New Delhi. Shri Ajay Singh Chahal, Senior Technical Director and State Informatics Officer, Himachal Pradesh received the award along with Shri Sanjay Sharma, Scientist-E and Shri Sarvjeet Kumar, Scientist-B. Sh. Ajay Sawhney IAS, Secretary MeitY and Dr. Neeta Verma, Director General NIC were also present on the occasion.

The State web portal has been designed, developed and maintained by NIC Himachal Pradesh team led by Sh. Sanjay Sharma, Scientist-E with Sh. Sarvjeet Kumar, Scientist-B. They are supported by Sh. Pardeep Singh, Ms. Amritanjali and Sh. Pawan. All Group Heads of NIC Himachal Pradesh and DIOs of NIC contribute content either directly or through the respective websites and web applications maintained by them. Hon’ble Minister for Information Technology, Agriculture Himachal Pradesh Dr. Ram Lal Markanda, Felicitated the NIC Himachal Pradesh Team on Receiving the Award.

The NIC Himachal Pradesh State Centre has been ranked as the 2ndmost cleanest NIC State office in country under the SwachhataAbhiyan. The award was presented by Sh. Ravi Shankar Prasad, Hon’ble Union Minister for Electronics and Information Technology to Sh. Ajay Singh Chahal, SIO NIC Himachal Pradesh, along with team on 21st February 2019 in the VIVID Conference held at New Delhi.

Ms. Aditi Thakur, FMS resource working with NIC HP at Shimla won the First Prize in the country in the NIC FMS Poster Competition held during the SwachhataPakhwada during 1st to 15 February 2019. She was felicitated by the Hon’ble Minister of Information Technology and Agriculture Himachal Pradesh at Shimla. Her achievement was celebrated by all NIC HP officials and FMS officials in which Districts participated through Video Conferencing.

नगर राजभाषा कार्यान्वन समिति (नराकास) शिमला का पुरस्कार वितरण समारोह दिनांक 13/02/2019 को केंद्रीय आलू अनुसंधान संस्थान शिमला के सभागार में आयोजित किया गया | जिसमें मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में नराकास शिमला के अध्यक्ष श्री प्रीतम सिंह, मुख्य आयकर आयुक्त हिमाचल प्रदेश उपस्थित रहे एवं विजेता कार्यालय अध्यक्षों को पुरस्कार प्रदान किये | राष्ट्रीय सूचना-विज्ञान केंद्र हिमाचल प्रदेश कार्यालय को राजभाषा नीति के प्रभावी कार्यान्वन एवं राजभाषा के प्रचार-प्रसार में प्रभावशाली भूमिका के लिए नराकास शिमला द्वारा छोटे कार्यालयों की श्रेणी में वर्ष 2017-18 के लिए द्वितीय पुरस्कार के लिए चुना गया | समारोह के दौरान सम्मानित करते हुए यह पुरस्कार कार्यालयाध्यक्ष श्री अजय सिंह चैहल, राज्य सूचना-विज्ञान अधिकारीजी को श्री प्रीतम सिंह जी ने भेंट किया, जिसमें राष्ट्रीय सूचना-विज्ञान केंद्र हिमाचल प्रदेश कार्यालय के लिए शील्ड व प्रशस्ति पत्र थे |
