The General Administration Department is the nerve centre of the State administration and it is listed ad first Department of the government. The Chief Minister is the Minister in charge and this Department functions under the supervision and guidance of the chief secretary and the administrative Secretary. The work in the General Administrative Department is organized in 5 sections A, B, C, D, & E under the supervision of branch officers in the rank of special/ Additional / Joint /Deputy/ Under Secretary (as the case may be).
