Privacy Policy – “Schools Safety” Mobile App

National Informatics Centre, Himachal Pradesh has developed the – “Schools Safety” Mobile App for the State Disaster Management Authority, GoHP. The app is used by the schools to update various parameters related to safety, based on which Disaster Management Plan, can be generated automatically.

Permission used by this App:

• Internet: The app uses internet connection and gather information about device’s network availability to fetch the data.
• Location: The app uses device location to capture the GPS coordinates of user.
• Camera: The app uses device camera to capture Pictures.
• Storage: The app uses storage access for Picture Gallery.

Data Retention Policy, Managing Your Information

The app enables the schools to login using UDISE Code and password combination. This app stores all data locally into device except login password. 

Misuse by Non Targeted Users

Mobile App is meant for use by the targeted audience only. Misuse by non-targeted users is avoided using the Mobile/OTP based login and mandatory Aadhaar verification of appellant.

Changes

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time to include or deleted any content as per latest requirements. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes.
