      SIET is an Institute of Shanti Alya Trust located in the outskirt of Shimla city at a distance of 22 km at Rampur Keonthal, Tehsil & District Shimla and is connected by Pucca Road having regular six-time daily bus service. It is just 6 km. off from Jathia Devi, on Totu-Nalagarh State Highway, 3 km short of Jubbar Hatti Airport Shimla.       

 

     Having been granted NOC by the Govt. of Himachal Pradesh, vide letter No- EDN-A-Chha (7)-6/99-Vol-III-Loose on June 24, 2004, recognition by the NCTE vide letter No-FNRC/NCTE/F-3/HP-105/3670 dated July 7, 2004 and affiliation by the H.P. University, the Institution started its 1^st session of B.Ed. Training in August, 04 with 100 girls students in arts stream.

 

      The Institute will admit 100 girl students in B.Ed. training course, arts and commerce stream, commencing from the academic year 2008-2009. The Institute has a complex of modern building with necessary infrastructure as per the norms prescribed by the NCTE & the H.P. University. Besides, hostel accommodation is available for 50 students.
