The Department of Information & Public Relations is responsible for releasing official News to the Press. The Print & TV media present these news to the public. Due to constraints on time and space, not all coverage is given. To view actual Press Releases, you may use the following Search options. On the right hand side, the drop down list shows Press Releases for the last 30 days. You may select any news and click on GO button,
On the left hand side, you can search the News Items based on Date, Keyword in Subject field, the Department concerned etc.

I The Press Releases of last 30 days are available 'subject wise' under the 'Current Releases'. Click on the drop down arrow & select the Press Release and click on 'Go' button you wish to see.
II In case the date of Press Release is known, select the date range. Additionaly, the department releasing the Press Release and district can be chosen or left blank as the case may be. Click 'Go' & you will see all the Press Releases for the selected period. To see details of any release, click on the Press Release number.
III You may Search any Press Release by typing any word contained in it in the search box & clicking on 'Go' button.
