The Department of Youth Services & Sports is headed by the Director who is assisted by one Joint Director and two Deputy Directors at the Directorate level and Distt Youth Services & Sports Officers at Distt level except Lahaul & Spiti. In Distt. Lahaul at Keylong, the charge is with Project officer (I.T.D.P)
District Coaching Centers have been established in all the Districts of the Pradesh which are being looked after by the District Youth Services & Sports Officers, experienced Coaches. Sports equipments are also provided by the Department from time to time as per requirement of the centre and popularity of the game.
