Government of India funded projects:

 Following projects have been funded by Government of India to the H. P. Aquaculture, Fishing and Marketing Society. Status of these projects is as under:

  1.   100% Centrally Sponsored Scheme on Strengthening of Post Harvest infrastructure.

 A sum of Rs. 100 Lakh were sanctioned by Government of India Under this Scheme. First Installment of Rs. 50.00 Lakh was released. Out of this amount four Aqua Shops amounting to Rs. 27.7354 Lakh have been constructed at Fish Farm Dhamwari (Shimla), Sultanpur (Chamba), Ghagus (Bilaspur) and Barot (Mandi). One Ice Plant with an estimated cost of Rs. 22.2646 Lakh has been constructed at patlikuhl which has been  completed by HIMUDA.

 Second installment of Rs. 50.00 Lakh is awaited from Government of India.  

 2.      Creation of Post Harvest Infrastructure such As Mini Ice Plant:

 A sum of Rs. 79.00 lakh have been sanctioned by Government of India under this scheme out of which first installment of Rs. 25.00 lakh was received from Government of India which has been deposited with HIMUDA for the Construction and Installation of One Mini Ice Plant at Dobar, Tehsil Bangana Distt. Una (Gobind Sagar).

 Release of balance funds of Rs. 54.00 lakh is awaited from Government of India.

3.       GOI grant for Establishment of Pathological Laboratory.

The Pathological Laboratory has been established at Patlikuhl. Rs. 25,37,306/- has been spent on construction, furnishings, Microscope, chemicals and laboratory equipments etc. against Rs. 30.00 lakhs received from GOI.

NOC’s issued to Hydro Electric Projects:

In addition, following are the names of projects in whose favour No Objection Certificates have been issued by the Department of Fisheries whose Fisheries Development Funds are being utilized for the developmental works through HPAFMS.
